Our role as educators is to engage, enlighten, empower and inspire.

Our academically challenging curriculum is enriched by ample opportunities for participation in the arts, leadership, service and a wide variety of community activities.

We instill these qualities in each of our students, so our graduates become lifelong learners and inventive and innovative leaders, passionate to bring about positive change.

So what is the NAS Project? It's Not a School

As our society evolves at an ever-increasing speed, schools must respond in kind. Technology is rapidly changing our world and our students must be given the skills to advance along with it. The Engaged Educators faculty, staff and curriculum design leaders work toward giving students an education which not only keeps pace with our current expectations but blasts forward into the future.

Personalized learning is at the core of all we do. Utilizing the latest in learning strategy and technology, we can adapt to each student’s level of learning in all subject areas. This eliminates the “learning gaps” we often see happening in traditional educational institutions. Positive reinforcement is consistent throughout the student’s individual learning programs. This results in a positive learning environment for all our students and eliminates the loss of confidence many students experience.

Collaboration and Application

Collaboration will be an “in-demand skill” by the year 2030. Students graduating from the NAS Project will have those skills mastered and then some. Technology can assist us with many things; however, our students must learn to excel in skills, technology cannot. The skill sets of human knowledge and face to face interactions are already sought-after skills.

The application of skills is paramount. Gone will be the days of students cramming for an exam and then forgetting the information the next day. All students will have demonstrated the application of their knowledge on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. In addition, the skills of organization, collaboration and productivity are further enhanced by internships, mentoring and collaboration projects.

Continually developing a curriculum is key to delivering an outstanding educational program. Students, teachers, parents and staff will work side by side in developing some of the most dynamic curricula ever designed and will ensure its fluidity.

Have you ever been to a school which allows for individualized education, daily report cards and one on one support for both students and parents?

One that has, at its inception, accounted for a neutral carbon footprint? A school where every facet of design, building, systems and suppliers are companies that share our passion to be responsible stewards of our planet?

Neither had we, so we are building just such a school, or in our case, “Not A School”.

We are not just innovating education; we are raising the bar without using a dime of government funding. We believe private enterprise should not be a burden to taxpayers and should, in turn, contribute to the tax base itself.

Engaged Educators use innovative ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to create a unique educational experience which in turn, will create a different type of student. Our students are engaged in learning, creating and making a positive, significant difference to oneself and the community.  This is a game-changer!

The NAS Project launched in September 2018. We are now accepting applications for September 2020.
